If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

The Diezel VH4 is one of the most loved high gain metal amps in the world. It's four channel design has found its way in to studios around the world becoming a go to amp for a lot of metal bands. Now the incredibly powerful channel three from the VH4 is not available in this single pedal that can either go straight in to the front of your amp or in to the power amp section acting as a standalone preamp.
So Much Power
While the VH4 does indeed have a fourth even heavier channel than the third channel this pedal is based on it has all of the gain you will ever need. Turned down low this pedal goes from a saturated mid gain sound all the way up to screaming solo heaven that only gets better when matched up with a classic green boost pedal.
VH4 Control Scheme
With some amp style overdrive pedals they often miss off a lot of the controls that give that pedal character. The VH4 does not with a full 3 band EQ like you find in the preamp section on top of the Deep and Presence controls that are normally part of the power amp section. These are part of what made up the signature Diezel sound so it only makes sense that they are here on this pedal.

Because this pedal is made in a very similar way to the original preamp in the actual amp it can be used as either an overdrive pedal or as a preamp to feed in to your amps power section. The benefit here is that by going direct in to the power amp you get all of the great Diezel tone uncoloured by your own amplifiers clean channel.

More than 20 years later, the VH4 has become one of the most loved high gain mps in the world and the powerhouse that put DIEZEL at the forefront of music with some of the most iconic players (from Metallica to Guns N Roses) performing with it on some of the biggest stages and in studios around the world. For the first time ever, this powerful performance tool can be found in the new DIEZEL VH4 PREAMP PEDAL with all the lush, dynamic overdrive character of the VH4 Channel 3.
Unlike traditional overdrive stomp boxes, the VH4 Pedal is a true preamp which delivers an authentic representation of its namesake - real Diezel tone - not emulated, not modeled, but sincerely reproduced. The entire signal architecture is faithful to the original: Bass, Mid, Treble and variable Deep and Presence controls allow you to tailor the uniquely Diezel Overdrive character. The command found in the Gain control gives a player everything they will ever need with lower gain settings producing the classic Diezel sparkle and chime to saturated mid-gain sounds, to scorching Diezel leads by cranking it all the way up.
As close to the original VH4 preamp, the VH4 pedal can be used as either an overdrive or as a standalone preamp to feed into your amps power section. What players take away by going direct into the power amp is all the dynamic, unfiltered Diezel tone by simply plugging into your amplifiers clean channel. Two outputs are provided with the first intended to connect to the front of a guitar amplifier and the second allows for a connection to a line-level power amp or power section of your amp via the Effects Return.
