Andertons are pleased to offer this Rock N Roll Relics Starfighter Custom finished in light-aged Copper adorned with RNRRs Van Series aesthetics. Taking influence from the colours, stripes and angles of retro ‘70s American Vans and Trucks, this Starfighter nods at the bygone era of American freedom and Rock N Roll.

Featuring a Mahogany double-cutaway Jet inspired body with Maple top this Starfighter Custom has the classic mid-range thump, warm depths and sparking highs that are often found on many of the most desirable electric guitars of the ‘50s and ‘60s. Its lightweight, 8.1lb body provides a resonant tone with plenty of harmonic sustain. The neck has been carved to a ’59 spec profile and features a bound Ebony fingerboard for an extra level of snappiness and attack.

Mojotone FilterTrons

Regarded as one of the best FilterTron-styled pickups available, the Mojotone MojoTron captures the true essence and vibe of the ‘60s originals. Built using the same materials and composition as the originals, these FilterTrons have the renowned jangly hi-fi humbucking tone that they are famous for. Altered slightly with modern players in mind, these FilterTrons feature a more accurate string spacing and a slightly hotter bridge pickup for improved dynamics and articulation as well as a more even balance between the neck and bridge pickups.

Founded in 2005 by genuine Rock N Roll legend, Billy Rowe, Rock N Roll Relics blends Billy’s obsession with vintage ‘relic’d’ guitars, his love of premium boutique instruments and his passion for guitar building and maintenance. From humble beginnings in a make-shift workshop in a relative’s garage and a store on eBay, Billy grew RNRR to become one of the most prominent custom guitar workshops on the scene. Based in North Hollywood, Billy and his small team have built guitars for Billie Joe Armstrong, Glen Campbell and Bruce Kulick to name just a few. Everyone at Rock N Roll Relics is a guitarist, building what they love with a genuine passion for what they do.
