PRS John Mayer Silver Sky Guitars

The Silver Sky guitar is the result of a close collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and John Mayer, who wanted to combine trademark PRS build-quality with elements from his favourite vintage guitars.

PRS John Mayer Silver Sky Guitars

This incredible instrument is a near-total departure from the familiar PRS Guitars blueprint. Boasting reconfigured electronics, a brand new neck shape, and of course, a completely redesigned aesthetic — the PRS Silver Sky is essentially an idealised version a traditional single-coil guitar where every detail adds up. It effortlessly delivers the warmth and familiarity of an old guitar with the finesse of a brand-new instrument.

“It’s been a dream of mine for years to design a guitar that includes some of my favourite vintage specifications but with a modern spirit and aesthetic. After two years of study and refinement, the Silver Sky is my vision of what a reboot of the electric guitar should look and feel like.” – John Mayer
