Fat ‘50s

Designed and wound at the Custom Shop, the Fat ‘50s Strat pickups perfectly capture the esteemed articulation and bell-like quality of a classic ‘50s Stratocaster with a few updated tweaks. Made using period-correct fibre bobbins, cloth wire, hand-bevelled staggered Alnico V magnets, and Formvar magnet wire, these pickups provide authentic vintage Strat tones with a musical midrange and dynamics. They have been overwound for extra bite and more power in the low-end and the middle pickup is RWRP for no noise in positions 2 and 4.
