Product Description

The Gamechanger Audio Bigsby is a faithful reproduction of the legendary Bigsby tremolo arm, in a compact pedal form! The Bigsby accurately reproduces the string bending and vibrato effects made famous by the Bigsby tremolo arm and other traditional tremolo systems. In fact, the Bigsby's unique detune algorithm emulates the imperfections and properties of mechanical string-bending hardware so accurately, it's almost indistinguishable from a traditional Bigsby!

The Bigsby's specially developed hybrid algorithm delivers smooth polyphonic pitch-shifting in real time and at low intervals. It has been painstakingly tweaked to preserve the natural timbre and sound of electric and acoustic string instruments, including, guitars, basses, baritones, mandolins and banjos. Featuring a unique spring-loaded pedal design, the Bigsby seamlessly incorporates pitch bends into complex picking patterns and melodic lead lines for a uniquely expressive playing experience. Better still, you won't have to keep tweaking your guitar's tuning, which is often the case when using vintage tremolo/vibrato systems!

In addition to being packed with tonnes of vintage vibrato sounds, the Bigsby also boats plenty of features for the modern player. With full MIDI functionality and PC control over all parameters, you can easily save and recall presets, making it a great asset on the stage or in the studio. The Blend control unlocks some incredible chorus and harmoniser sounds whilst the expression output lets you take control of other audio gear either in conjunction with or separately from the pitch shifting.

An amazing peice of kit. I have so far only used it with the settings it came with as I have devices that do most of the other stuff this does. I was close to shelling out some huge wedge for a Deusemberg Starplayer as I wanted a reliable trem but having checked out demos on line I still prefer the sound of my Gibson Les Paul, along came Gamechanger and problem solved. My only minor gripe is that nothing appears to stick to any part of the casing, I had to get really imaginative in order to get it to stay on my pedal board.

Just the look of this pedal is fantastic. Appears heavier duty and better made than many other pedals I have seen. Once seen could not be ignored!

Inspirational pedal, does far more than just a Bigsby warble and tied in with a Midi pedal the pitch shifting is immense. Digital pedals are coming of age and are now on a level with analogue from Game Changer Audio. Only marked pedal down on durability as only time will tell, but it seems robust under foot.

Feels extremely strong but quite heavy and bulky. Works brilliantly. Pretty expensive but unique - no one else produces anything like it.

Faulty. Product was quite heavy and looked very well made but would not power up. Returned.

It is a smidge expensive. However, once you get past that it is an excellent tool. Does exactly what I wanted and what I hoped it would do too. I have it set for a whole tone drop so it feels like a real one but also an octave up which is ridiculous fun
