You might know Ashdown for their amazing quality bass amps, but here's a new one for you: Ashdown bass guitars! The British brand have worked with skilled luthier Dan Lakin to create a kitted-out range of new creations, as well as a couple of firm favourite shapes.
The Saint shines a bright light on great P/J bass tone, blending vintage sound with stylish shape. This is all backed up by some truly outstanding hardware to make your playing experience as good as it gets.
Construction
Made using supreme lightweight alder and maple woods for the body and neck, the Saint is a joy to play thanks to a number of carefully thought-out features.
The neck is finished in a birchwood-casey Tru-Oil brand gun stock oil allowing your hand to slide seamlessly up and down the neck. Its 10-inch radius fretboard is on the vintage side of things and fills out the hand nicely.
Hardware on the Saint really stands to impress, with pro-grade Hipshot licensed tuners and a string-thrugh bridge keeping the tuning and intonation super stable.
Sound
P/J combination bass pickups are as versatile as they come; able to deliver heavy attack and silky smooth warmth in equal measure. The Saint is designed for tonal diversity and has the looks to slot in under any genre of music. The J bass bridge pickup has spades of projection and is ideal when the Saint is played finger style, in order to make up the lack of pick attack. Meanwhile, the P bass middle single coil offers the fatter, warmer notes, key to filling out any musical setting.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
