Product Description
Say hello to the MicroBrute UFO, a galactic reimagining of one of the most beloved little beasts in analogue synth history. Arturia’s classic mono monster is back with the same roaring Brute attitude, only now dressed in a stealthy space-black finish with neon-green details straight out of Area 51. Still pocket-sized, still outrageously powerful, and still 100 percent analogue, of course.
This limited edition is a love letter to hands-on synth fun. From squelchy basslines to warped cosmic leads, the MicroBrute UFO delivers everything you remember and more. You’ve got the legendary Steiner-Parker filter, Brute Factor for filthy overdrive, and a built-in step sequencer to get ideas going fast. Plus, with a patchable Mod Matrix, it’s ready to jam with your modular mates or go completely off the rails. MIDI, USB, CV/Gate, it plays nicely with everything. No menus. No screen. Just knobs, jacks and pure sonic joy.
Key Features:
- 100 Percent Analogue Signal Path:
From oscillator to output, it’s all juicy analogue, just like the original. - Patchable Mod Matrix:
Route anything to anything (within reason) and open the door to unexpected, glorious chaos. - Integrated Step Sequencer:
Eight sequences, 64 steps each, perfect for sketching riffs or launching a full-scale alien invasion.
Hands-On Workflow:
Menu diving? Not here. The MicroBrute UFO is all about grabbing a knob, twisting it, and hearing magic. Everything is on the front panel waveforms, modulation, filter controls, it’s like painting with sound. The sequencer is instant inspiration, the patch bay begs to be explored, and the whole thing is so portable you’ll wonder why all synths aren’t built this way. Ideal for beginners and old-school synth nuts alike.
Brute Analogue Sound:
That classic Brute sound is alive and well, thick, nasty and beautifully unstable. Blend triangle, pulse and sawtooth waveforms, then push them through the Steiner-Parker filter until they scream. Add Ultra Saw and Metalizer for weird harmonics, and kick in the Brute Factor when things need to get a bit wild. Whether you’re making electro growls or lo-fi space funk, this synth punches way above its weight.
Modular-Inspired Flexibility:
The Mod Matrix is where the fun really kicks off. Patch the envelope to the filter, LFO to pitch, or hook it up to your Eurorack for a bit of cross-system chaos. Want to process a drum machine through the filter? Do it. Send LFOs out to another synth? Go for it. It’s the perfect playground for modular-curious musicians or anyone looking to expand their setup without lugging around a full rack.

A personal note from our Synth Web guy Robin.
"Hi, Robin here. The MicroBrute is a personal favourite of mine. I have quite a large synth collection and I always go back to the MicroBrute, and I've been using it for about a decade. To me it hits all the right spots, the sequencer is dirt simple and fast to set up, the LFO can tear the audio apart, and a neat trick, don't whack the wave shapes up to full, well, but obviously do because it sounds awesome, but 50% is actually 100% gain, going higher drives the filter, I've gotten some very soft and lush leads by doing this and then pushing the filter for some darn right nasty ones. The MicroBrute also plays extremely well with effects pedals, and the metalizer + LFO and Sub-Fith + Env is just darn right good".
