Perfect Combinations

Utilising Fender's classic wood combination of Alder, Maple and Rosewood, this '61 Tele does it right! With its Alder body, Maple neck and AAA slab Rosewood fingerboard this guitar offers it in Premium styling. Tonally, it's well-balanced with a slight push in the upper mids as you'd expect from a vintage-styled Tele. The guitar sustains nicely and at 7.4lbs it’s a very comfortable weight.

Twisted Tele

Fender’s Twisted Tele pickups merge the boundaries between the crystal, bell-like chime of a Start and the higher output twang of a Tele. These Custom Shop designed and made pickups are built using Alnico 5 for an overall vintage-styled tonality that sits comfortably with all playing styles. The neck pickup features a taller bobbin for increased wind space and is wound using Formvar-coated magnet wire for enhanced Strat-like glassiness. The bridge pickup bobbin height is decreased and Enamel-coated wire is used for a darker, warmer tone with a more open, full-bodied midrange. These uniquely tailored pickups are well-balanced and truly offer a best-of-both-worlds Fender electric guitar tone.
