Product Description

The JustinGuitar series of books are excellent resources for learning to play the guitar. Whether you're a complete beginner, becoming an intermediate player, or you just want to learn some songs, JustinGuitar has a book to help.

With over 20 years of experience as a professional guitarist and educator, Justin Sandercoe has become one of the most popular and trusted guitar teachers online. Justin has built up an impressive learning resource on his website justinguitar.com and has amassed over 1,650,000 subscribers across his two YouTube channels, JustinGuitar and JustinGuitar Songs.

Here's What JustinGuitar Says About the Note Reading for Guitarists Book

Following on from his hugely successful JustinGuitar.com Beginner’s Course and his songbooks for guitar, celebrated guitar tutor Justin Sandercoe and his friend and session guitar master Dario Cortese have created a detailed and comprehensive guide to reading music notation for guitarists.

This book has been specially created for any guitarist who wants to learn note reading, be they beginners or more advanced players who have neglected this part of their musicianship. It starts with the very basics of written music and progressively introduces notes on each string one at a time until all notes in the "open position" (first five frets) of the guitar have been mastered, and up to 8th note rhythm subdivisions have been learned and applied. Also covered are sharps, flats, key signatures, accidentals, repeats and more. Each step includes practical exercises, handy tips and tricks and a simple repertoire for students to put their reading skills into practice.

I'm a beginner and I'm learning to read music notation. This book is great to learn from the very basic, both to read music notation and to learn where the notes are on the fret board.
