Fender American Elite Telecaster Guitars
It’s in the name; Fender’s American Elite range offers a cutting-edge take on the ultimate versatile electric guitar.
The Fender Telecaster is one of the first mass-produced electric guitars dating back to 1951. As the name suggests, the Fender American Elite Tele range represents a highly-refined take on the classic design. Not afraid to shake it up, Fender have remade the Telecaster with an acute awareness of the needs of the contemporary guitarist.
These innovative instruments replaced the popular American Deluxe series, and are regarded as the cream of the Fender crop. A number of notable (and calculated) design appointments ensure that the Elite range stands out from the crowd.
First of all, truss rod adjustment can now be found at the body-end of the fretboard for easier access. Next up, a compound neck shape goes from Modern C to Modern D, providing ergonomic control from top to bottom. You get a choice of Maple or Ebony fretboards, and of course you’ve got a choice of Thinline versions. The pickups range from 4th Generation Noiseless to the highly-articulate Shawbucker and a few in-betweens.
All in all, the American Elite models combine luxury with pure precision. They’re a joy to play and they’ll execute just about any style you throw their way – check out the full range below!
