D'Angelico DC Guitars

D’Angelico’s DC is a contemporary semi-hollow body guitar serving up pure rock ’n’ roll tones from two medium output humbuckers. It’s perfect for overdriven tones and smooth cleans alike. Thanks to its sumptuous playability, it’s all the style without the setbacks of a vintage instrument.

The range is split into three models – the Premier, the Excel and the high-end Deluxe. The former is the most affordable option, but no less the classier. It’s built using a maple neck and flat 14-inch ovangkol fingerboard, set into the maple body for smooth access to 22 medium jumbo frets.

The Excel is next up, and it loads up on the premium features. These have a pau ferro fretboard and beautiful s-ply binding round a choice of flamed maple tops. All hardware choices you’d expect are here, with Rotomatic locking tuners and a Tusq nut.

Finally, the Deluxe brings the very best from production D’Angelico guitars. You’ll find features such as three-piece maple and walnut necks, mother of pearl inlays and USA Seymour Duncan DA-59 humbuckers with a versatile push/pull coil tap.

There’s a choice of bridge options to be had – a sturdy hard tailpiece, classic tremolo or the classy stopbar. Take your pick, you’ll love the design of any guitars in the range.
