Gibson Les Paul Guitars

Not many electric guitars are as instantly-recognisable as a Gibson Les Paul, both aesthetically and sonically. The instrument’s distinctive single-cutaway body shape is not only elegant but also functional, giving you great access to all 22 of its frets, while its thick humbucking pickups and Mahogany construction yield the famously rich and powerful sound that all guitarists adore the model for.

Gibson’s flagship Les Paul guitars are famous for other features too. Most models sport gorgeous Flamed Maple tops that add exquisite top-end sizzle into their tonal mix, as well as easy-to-adjust ‘tune-o-matic’ bridges that are mounted deep into their bodies to maximise sustain and resonance. Les Paul guitars also boast silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboards, medium/jumbo frets for exceptional playability, and versatile electronics that give you control over the volume and tone of each of their pickups.

Of course, with more than 60 years of history — it’s won’t be surprising to learn that a few iterations of the legendary Les Paul have come and gone! The Gibson Les Paul Standard has always been their flagship range, and is currently split into ‘50s and ‘60s versions that honour the specs of the models from those decades.
