Is the product I have ordered in stock and ready for dispatch?

We show real-time stock levels on each product page on our website. This information is updated regularly, so if our website says we have something in stock - we do!

During extremely busy trading periods such Christmas, or in unforeseen circumstances such as those caused by severe weather, we cannot guarantee the same dispatch and delivery schedule. If your order is time sensitive, please order in good time to avoid disappointment.

If some items included in your order are in stock and some are not, you can choose to split your order into multiple deliveries - simply contact us to do so.*

*Please note - This will incur additional delivery charges. We cannot split orders paid for using Instant Finance.

Can my order be delivered to an alternative address?

Yes, we can deliver to an alternative address for credit and debit card payments.

However, for finance orders we MUST deliver to the billing address. We cannot make any exceptions to this.

For orders paid for using PayPal, the address you enter into the billing address field will be the address that we deliver to. This does not have to be the card/bank account billing address, but we ask that you do use an address verified by PayPal to avoid delaying your order.

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes at this time.

How can I track my order?

When we have dispatched your order, we will send you an e-mail containing the information required to track your order with one of our couriers (UPS and DPD in the UK).

You can also login to your Andertons account to find tracking information links.

Do you deliver on bank holidays?

Unfortunately we do not dispatch orders on public holidays or bank holidays. Our courier(s) will not deliver orders on these days either. These days are not considered "working days" in the context of the Andertons Music Co. delivery schedule.

Do I need to be at home for my delivery?

Yes. All orders must be signed for, so please ensure that someone is in to receive your order on the day that it is due. We will let you know by e-mail once we have dispatched your order.

What happens if I miss my home delivery?

If our courier attempts to deliver your parcel and you're out, they will leave a note and attempt to deliver again on the following day.

You will also have the opportunity to reschedule or have it delivered to a local depot for you to collect at your own convenience.

What about other UK areas? (Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands)

Some parts of the UK are classed as "remote areas" by our couriers which means delivery normally takes 1-3 days to arrive with you after dispatch.

If you live in a BT, IM, KW, or ZE postcode area, delivery is chargeable by weight starting from £3.99 for Northern Ireland and £9.99 for Scottish Highlands.

For delivery to the Channel Islands, please select "Jersey" or "Guernsey" in the COUNTRY field when entering your address. Prices start from £13.99.

How much will delivery cost to my country?

Delivery charges are based on weight and location. Once you have the items you want in your basket, proceed to the checkout to see delivery charges. Here's how:

New Customers

You can quickly find out your delivery costs by choosing the "checkout as guest" icon and entering your address. Your total costs will then be updated accordingly. If your country is not in the "country" drop down list, unfortunately shipping is currently not available.

Please note - We will not save any of your details on our system unless you create an account with us or complete the checkout process.

Returning Customers

Sign in and all your preferences will be updated. Your delivery costs will automatically show in your basket.

Can I see prices in my local currency?

All prices advertised on our site are in GBP and include VAT (20% sales tax). If you live within the European Union then this is the price you will pay.

If you place an order to be delivered outside the EU you will not have to pay this VAT and this tax amount is deducted when you enter your address in the checkout. Please note that the VAT rate applied to second hand goods is lower and will be adjusted accordingly.

Do I need to pay Import Taxes?

If you live outside the EU you will probably have to pay local import tax to the courier when your items are delivered. Please ensure you find out what your local import taxes are before you order. We cannot refund an order because of these customs charges so please do not refuse the delivery at this point as you will not get your money back.

How long does international delivery take?

The majority of orders are shipped by UPS and are insured against loss and damage. Once we have dispatched your order you will receive tracking information by email which will advise you of the projected delivery time.

All orders must be signed for, please ensure that someone is in to receive your order on the day that it is due.

What Forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.

The GBP price that we charge you will be converted to your local currency by your card issuer or PayPal. Please be aware we have no control over the rate that is used – please refer to your card issuer.

What happens if the item is out of stock?

Payment for all orders is taken at the point of order. We will ship your goods as quickly as possible once the stock arrives. If at any point the wait becomes too long we can cancel the order and refund the amount you have paid. Please note that any refund issued would be processed in GBP.

What about Quality Control and Voltage?

Any order being sent outside the EU will be tested before dispatch to ensure the goods are functioning and undamaged when they leave us. We will contact you by email to go through the details of this and will await your confirmation before proceeding with testing the goods.

All products supplied by Andertons are intended for use at UK mains voltage 230v, if you are in a country where mains voltage is anything other than 220v-240v you may need to use a stepdown transformer which would be sourced and used at your own cost and risk.

International Warranty & Returns Policy

Within the EU we offer a 12 month warranty as standard on all new items. Second hand products come with a 3 month parts and labour warranty.

We do not offer a warranty on any goods sold outside the EU, however, if you have an issue with a product purchased from us please do get in touch and we will offer advice on the best way for you to have the item fixed.

International Returns

You are still able to return any goods purchased within 14 days for a refund. Please see our returns page for the conditions of return. Please note that you will be liable for any delivery costs associated with your return, including any import/customs charges. It is important that you contact us to discuss your options before arranging any return.

CITES - International Restrictions

You may be aware that new international restrictions have been put in to place that affect the movement of rosewood and bubinga around the world. Depending on the products involved and where you require delivery to we may be able to ship it outside the EU though fees for the CITES certification may apply. Any order containing one of the restricted materials being sent outside the EU will have a delayed shipping time.
