The Zoom LiveTrak L12next is a powerful all-in-one digital mixer, multitrack recorder and USB audio interface designed to streamline live sound, studio sessions, podcasts and streaming. Zoom have significantly upgraded the LiveTrak platform with cleaner, more powerful preamps, a crisp OLED display and enhanced recording tools such as overdub, auto punch in/out and 32-bit float master recording. Scene memories, talkback, built-in effects and optional wireless control round out a feature set that lets you handle complex shows and sessions with confidence.

Analogue-Style Control, Digital Power

The L12next is built around a familiar mixer layout, with 60 mm faders and three multi-function encoder knobs on every channel. A simple function selector lets you decide whether those knobs control EQ, gain, compression, panning or sends, so you can shape sounds quickly without scrolling through layers of menus. LED metering and encoder position indicators make it easy to see what is happening at a glance, even on dark stages.

Flexible Inputs for Bands, Creators and Studios

Eight XLR/TRS combo inputs handle microphones and line sources, with switchable Hi-Z on channels 1 and 2 for plugging guitars or basses straight in. Two additional stereo TS line inputs are ideal for keyboards, drum machines or playback devices. With PAD, Hi-Z and +48 V phantom power options, the L12next adapts to a wide range of sources, from dynamic mics and condensers to instruments and external gear.

Advanced Multitrack Recording and Audio Interface

The built-in recorder captures up to 14 tracks simultaneously to SD card, with individual channels at up to 24-bit/96 kHz and a dedicated stereo master track that can be recorded in up to 32-bit float for clip-free mixes. Overdub and auto punch in/out functions make it easy to build layered productions and fix mistakes without starting again. Connected via USB, the L12next becomes a 14-in/4-out audio interface for Mac, Windows and compatible mobile devices, allowing simultaneous SD and computer recording and DAW control.

Personal Monitoring and Scene Recall

Five powered monitor outputs provide individual mixes for performers, whether on headphones, in-ears or stage wedges. Each musician can hear exactly what they need without compromising the front-of-house sound. Up to ten scenes can be stored and recalled, saving fader positions, EQ, pan, mutes and effects, so you can instantly switch between setups for different bands, songs or shows. A dedicated Fader Position button helps you quickly match physical faders to saved scenes.
