Korina Body Electric Guitars

The use of Korina in electric guitar construction has always been divisive. While its rich sound and stunning natural grain has been met with admiration, it’s also notoriously difficult to work with. As Korina typically drains moisture much faster than other tonewoods, this means that it is prone to splitting when cut. However, when done correctly, Korina is worth the hassle!

Korina body guitars are fairly rare because the timber is relatively scarce and, as we have established, not the easiest to work with. However, Korina is the main tonewood of choice for Reverend, who use the material to construct the bodies of their electric guitars.
