If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Tone Shaping Preamps with Three Character Modes
Volt 2 Max features two Tone Shaping Preamps with three harmonic modes: Warmth, Focus and Shine. These capture the vibe of classic tube, solid-state and British Class-A preamps, letting you add weight, clarity or presence at the source. Instead of relying on plug-ins later, you can commit to a characterful sound as you record, helping your mixes come together faster.
Max Processing for Instant, Mix-Ready Compression
With Max processing on each preamp, Volt 2 Max gives you six push-button compressor presets inspired by UA’s legendary LA-2A and 1176 units. From tight rap vocals to jangly acoustic guitars, you can add punch, control and polish in realtime without extra hardware. Combined with the three preamp modes, you get over 18 noise-free tonal combinations ready for any session.
32-bit / 192 kHz Conversion and Smart Monitoring
Volt 2 Max records and plays back at up to 32-bit / 192 kHz, preserving every detail of your performance. High-headroom monitor outputs and two studio-quality headphone outs provide clear, confident monitoring, while the full-colour Smart Display shows levels, gain reduction and key settings at a glance. Auto-Gain and Clip Protection keep your signals in the sweet spot, so you can focus on the music instead of the meters.
Expandable, Bus-Powered Studio Hub with UAD Software
Despite its compact footprint, Volt 2 Max offers 10-in / 4-out I/O, including ADAT or S/PDIF optical input for up to eight extra channels, MIDI In and Out, and an onboard USB hub for peripherals. It is bus-powered over USB, class-compliant with Mac, Windows and iOS, and integrates tightly with the UAD Console app and LUNA. The included UAD Volt Studio Bundle and additional third-party software give you a complete toolkit for producing, mixing and mastering straight out of the box.
