Strandberg Boden Essential 6 Tremolo Headless Electric Guitar in Whale Blue

The Strandberg Boden Essential 6 Tremolo in Whale Blue takes the hugely popular Essential platform and adds the expressive power of the Arc TILT tremolo bridge. Lightweight, ergonomic and brilliantly versatile, it is designed as a no-nonsense performance tool that covers everything from tight modern rhythm work to fluid lead playing, all while remaining incredibly comfortable for long sessions on stage, in the studio or at home.

With its EndurNeck profile, roasted maple neck and stainless steel frets, the Boden Essential 6 Trem feels fast, precise and fatigue free. A pair of .strandberg* custom humbuckers and a highly flexible 5-way switching layout deliver a wide palette of usable tones, from articulate cleans to punchy rock and fusion-friendly drive. Finished in a sleek Whale Blue Metallic Satin, it looks as modern as it feels.

Built around Strandberg’s signature headless Boden shape and straight 25.5” scale, this guitar offers familiar playability with advanced ergonomics. The compact, well-balanced body and low overall weight make it ideal for travelling players, session guitarists and anyone who values comfort without sacrificing tone or tuning stability.

Whether you are a contemporary rock player, a progressive stylist or a genre-hopping session musician, the Boden Essential 6 Trem is engineered to be the one guitar that can handle it all with clarity, reliability and style.

Arc TILT Tremolo Bridge

The Arc TILT 6-string tremolo bridge opens up a new level of expression while retaining the tuning stability and direct feel that Strandberg instruments are known for. Smooth pitch bends, subtle vibrato and dramatic dives are all on tap, with the Arc string lock system keeping everything secure and precise under your picking hand.

EndurNeck Ergonomics

The patented EndurNeck profile is designed to support a more relaxed, natural hand position across the entire neck. Its unique, faceted shape encourages proper thumb placement, reducing strain and helping you play faster and longer with less fatigue, whether you are chording low down or stretching for wide-interval leads high up the neck.

Lightweight Boden Design

With its compact headless layout, meranti body and carefully balanced proportions, the Boden Essential 6 Trem weighs in at around 2.3 kg. This makes it exceptionally comfortable for standing gigs, rehearsals and long studio days, while still delivering a full, resonant tone that responds dynamically to your playing.

.strandberg* Custom HH Versatility

A .strandberg* Hum Hot bridge pickup and Hum Vintage neck pickup, combined with a 5-way selector, provide a broad range of tones from tight, aggressive rhythm sounds to open, vintage-flavoured cleans. Coil combinations in the middle positions add extra clarity and sparkle, making this guitar equally at home in modern rock, fusion, pop or worship settings.
