Product Description
The Sire X6 Headless 6-String in Black Swirl is a sleek, modern metal machine that combines a compact, headless design with high-spec hardware and electronics. With its striking swirl finish, fast C-shape maple neck and powerful LC Modern humbuckers, it is built for players who want cutting-edge performance, rock-solid tuning and a bold stage presence in a streamlined, ergonomic package.
At its core, the X6 Headless pairs a mahogany body with a maple top for a punchy, resonant tone that balances warmth and clarity. The lightweight, headless construction improves balance and reduces neck dive, making long rehearsals and gigs more comfortable. A Sire headless tremolo bridge keeps everything locked in and responsive under your picking hand, while the 25.5 inch scale and 24 stainless steel frets give you the range and durability needed for modern, technical playing.
The hard maple neck and Rosewood Edgeless fingerboard are designed for speed and precision. Rolled fretboard edges remove any sharpness along the sides, so fast runs, wide stretches and complex chords feel smooth and effortless. A flat 16 inch radius and medium jumbo stainless frets make bending and vibrato clean and controlled, with excellent note definition right up to the 24th fret.
Electronics are kept focused and versatile. The LC Modern humbucker set delivers tight lows, articulate mids and clear highs that excel with high gain, yet remain musical for cleans and edge-of-breakup tones. A 5-way lever switch, plus volume and tone controls, offers a wide palette of sounds from thick rhythm crunch to cutting leads, all voiced for contemporary rock and metal styles.
Modern Headless Design
The X6 Headless body shape removes the traditional headstock for a more compact, well-balanced instrument that is easier to handle on stage and in the studio. The reduced overall length makes it more portable and comfortable, while the Black Swirl finish adds a distinctive visual flair that stands out under stage lights.
Fast Maple Neck with Edgeless Rosewood Fingerboard
A hard maple neck with a comfortable C-shape profile provides stability and a familiar feel for most players. The Rosewood Edgeless fingerboard with rolled fretboard edges eliminates harsh corners, giving you a smooth, broken-in feel straight out of the box, ideal for fast, technical playing and long sessions.
Stainless Steel Frets and Flat Radius
Medium jumbo 2.7 mm stainless steel frets offer exceptional durability and a slick feel, resisting wear even under heavy use. Combined with a 16 inch fingerboard radius, the X6 allows for low action, clean bends and precise intonation across all 24 frets, perfect for modern lead work and complex chord voicings.
LC Modern Humbuckers with 5-Way Switching
The LC Modern humbucker set is voiced for clarity and power, handling high-gain tones with tight low end and defined highs. The 5-way lever switch, along with volume and tone controls, gives you multiple tonal options from full, aggressive humbucker sounds to more nuanced, articulate settings, making the X6 suitable for a wide range of contemporary genres.
