Product Description
The Sabian Stratus Dry Performance Set brings together a 15 inch hi hat pair, 19 inch crash and 22 inch ride into a ready made, modern dry cymbal rig. Voiced for dark tone, fast response and tightly controlled sustain, this set is ideal for players who need clarity and precision without overpowering the mix, whether in the studio or on stage.
Each cymbal in the Stratus Dry Performance Set is designed to complement the others, giving you a cohesive, contemporary sound straight out of the box. The hi hats deliver crisp, articulate definition, the crash offers a punchy, dark attack with a quick decay, and the ride provides clear stick with a focused, musical wash. If you are chasing a modern dry voice that stays expressive yet controlled, this set gives you a complete solution in one hit.
Modern Dry Voice
The Stratus Dry series is voiced for a distinctly modern dry character, with dark tonality and minimal overtones. This keeps your cymbal sound tight and controlled, helping your patterns sit neatly in the mix without unwanted wash or harsh top end. It is perfect for contemporary styles where definition and space are just as important as power.
Fast Response, Controlled Sustain
All three cymbals respond quickly to the stick, then get out of the way with a controlled, musical decay. This makes intricate patterns, ghosted notes and dynamic swells easy to hear, while preventing your kit from becoming cluttered with lingering cymbal noise. The result is a responsive feel under the sticks and a cleaner overall sound.
Articulate 15 Inch Hi Hats
The 15 inch Stratus Dry hi hats deliver a crisp, articulate chick with a solid, defined stick sound. The larger diameter adds body and warmth, while the dry voicing keeps them tight and controlled. From tight, closed patterns to sloshy grooves and strong foot chicks, these hats give you a versatile, modern sound that remains focused at any dynamic.
Expressive Crash and Ride Pairing
The 19 inch Stratus Dry crash offers a dark, punchy attack with balanced projection and a quick decay, ideal for accents that cut through without lingering. The 22 inch Stratus Dry ride provides clear, articulate stick definition with a controlled wash that stays focused, making it equally at home for timekeeping, light crashing and dynamic pattern work.
Features
- Complete Modern Dry Setup - The matched 15 inch hi hats, 19 inch crash and 22 inch ride give you a fully voiced, ready to play cymbal set. You get a cohesive sound across the kit, saving you the hassle of mixing and matching individual cymbals.
- Dark Tone with Controlled Sustain - Designed for a darker, more refined tonality with fast response and tight decay, the Stratus Dry Performance Set keeps your cymbal sound focused. This helps your playing stay clear and musical in modern production and live environments.
- Crisp, Articulate 15 Inch Hi Hats - The 15 inch Stratus Dry hi hats deliver a strong, defined stick sound and a pronounced foot chick. Their dry character prevents excessive wash, so intricate patterns and grooves remain precise and easy to hear.
