The PRS NF 53 is Paul Reed Smith’s take on the iconic T-style guitar, blending classic tones with modern design. Inspired by one of Paul’s favourite vintage guitars from 1953, it delivers that familiar snap and character — but with the precision and consistency PRS are famous for. A Swamp Ash body pairs beautifully with a 22-fret, 25.5” scale bolt-on Maple neck, giving you a bright, punchy response that feels instantly comfortable in the hands.

Narrowfield DD pickups: classic meets contemporary

At the heart of the NF 53 is a specially developed set of PRS Narrowfield DD (“Deep Dish”) pickups. These are designed with taller bobbins to accommodate more windings, alongside additional metal components between the magnets. This means you get a tighter, more focused tone with extra output and warmth. So, they’re perfect for players who want vintage-style clarity with a modern edge.

Premium hardware

A set of PRS Phase III tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability, while the steel plate-style bridge with brass barrel saddles delivers that authentic, old-school feel and resonance. It’s a thoughtful blend of traditional design and PRS craftsmanship that just works.
