The 16 Series combines traditional Martin build quality and premium tonewoods with current versatility, hardware and electronics so you’re getting best of both worlds: gorgeous old golden age acoustic style with the contemporary comforts suited to effortless playing, recording and performance.
Slender 00 body shape made with impressive tonewoods
The elegant 00 is the perfect guitar to pick up and play around at home and in the comfort of your recording space, as well as proving to be a brilliant lightweight shape for gigging. It’s ideal for players who enjoy a mix of fingerstyle and strumming, while
Unlike a larger body guitar, the sound from the 00L-16E is much more responsive and delicate, with a woody texture and punchy midrange. The volume from this acoustic will surprise you thanks to the glossy spruce top adding excellent projection. Add in the X-bracing and you’ve got a guitar producing great sustain and dynamism bolstered by the warmth of the mahogany back and sides.
