The LP Series is where Kali Audio began. Launched in 2018, the Lone Pine range immediately earned a reputation for delivering impressive performance at entry-level prices. These monitors quickly became favourites among bedroom producers, YouTubers, streamers, and professional engineers alike.

Kali Audio designed the LP with space restrictions in mind, and so opted for a front port to release internal air pressure and amplify and extend low-frequency output, without creating something called “chuffing,” a noise you get when air is pushed out at different level. This allows the LP to be pushed back against a wall in smaller home studios.

Kali Audio levelled up to pro standards with the IN Series. Rather than using a traditional 2-way design, IN monitors feature a 3-way coaxial architecture, which means the mid-range driver and tweeter are mounted concentrically and behave almost like a single point-source speaker. In English: you get sharper details, more headroom, and better separation between the sound sources you're mixing. They produce exceptional clarity when compared to similarly priced speakers.

Along with the LP range, IN monitors also feature handy setup recommendations in little diagrams on the back of the cabinet, using dip switches to tweak EQ depending on how close you place the speakers, whether they’re positioned on a desk or stand, or set vertically or horizontally.
