Kala All Solid Salt & Pepper Doghair Mahogany Electro Acoustic Baritone Ukulele

The Kala All Solid Salt & Pepper Doghair Mahogany Electro Acoustic Baritone Ukulele takes a much-loved Elite USA Series design and makes it accessible to more players. With an all solid mahogany construction, striking Salt & Pepper doghair finish and a built in Fishman Kula preamp, this baritone is built to inspire whether you are playing at home, in the studio or on stage.

Combining the warmth and depth of baritone tuning with premium tonewoods and reliable onboard electronics, this ukulele is ideal for guitarists moving to uke, songwriters looking for a rich accompaniment instrument, or dedicated ukulele players wanting a serious step up in tone and feel. Finished in high gloss with cream binding and supplied with a Kala logo gig bag, it looks every bit as good as it sounds.

All Solid Mahogany Construction

Using solid mahogany for the top, back and sides gives this baritone a full, rounded voice with excellent sustain and projection. Solid wood responds more dynamically to your playing, opening up over time and rewarding you with an even richer tone the more you play. Whether you are fingerpicking or strumming, the mahogany build delivers a warm, woody character that sits beautifully in a mix.

Salt & Pepper Doghair Gloss Finish

The distinctive Salt & Pepper doghair look comes from a special finishing process where the grain is filled before sealing and glossing, highlighting every line of the mahogany. The result is a unique, textured aesthetic that stands out under stage lights and in the studio. Cream binding and rosette add a classy, vintage inspired touch that frames the dramatic finish perfectly.

Fishman Kula Electronics

With the onboard Fishman Kula system, you can plug straight into an amp, PA or audio interface and get a clear, natural amplified sound. The built in EQ lets you shape your tone on the fly, while the convenient tuner helps you stay perfectly in tune without needing extra gear. It is a practical, gig ready solution that keeps your setup simple and reliable.

Comfortable Baritone Feel

A mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, adjustable truss rod and baritone scale length combine for a familiar, guitar like feel that is easy to adapt to. The slightly wider nut and generous fingerboard width at the body joint give your fretting hand plenty of room, making chords, fingerstyle patterns and melodic lines feel relaxed and controlled across all 18 frets.

• All Solid Mahogany Body - Solid mahogany top, back and sides provide a warm, resonant and responsive tone that improves with age, giving you a baritone ukulele that will continue to develop character the more you play it.
• Striking Salt & Pepper Doghair Finish - The unique grain filled gloss finish creates a bold Salt & Pepper appearance that showcases the wood and makes this instrument visually stand out on stage or in your collection.
• Fishman Kula Preamp with Tuner - Built in Fishman Kula electronics offer a clear, controllable amplified sound and an integrated tuner, so you are always ready to perform or record with minimal fuss.
• Comfortable Baritone Playability - A baritone scale length, 18 frets, adjustable truss rod and well proportioned neck dimensions deliver a comfortable, stable playing experience that suits both guitarists and dedicated uke players.
