Product Description
The Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer is the reissue of one of the most iconic overdrive pedals ever made, delivering the same unmistakable mid-rich crunch that has shaped countless classic guitar tones. With its familiar green enclosure, simple three-knob layout and legendary sound, the TS9 is the perfect way to push your amp into sweet, singing overdrive or add warmth and presence to your core tone.
Whether you are tightening up a high-gain rig, giving a clean amp some bluesy grit or using it as a focused lead boost, the TS9 excels at cutting through the mix without sounding harsh. Its smooth clipping and musical midrange make it equally at home on stage and in the studio, and its intuitive controls let you dial in great sounds in seconds.
Built to capture the feel and response of the original, this reissue keeps things authentic and straightforward. No menus, presets or distractions, just the classic Tube Screamer voice that reacts to your picking dynamics and guitar volume, encouraging you to play and express yourself.
If you want a proven, workhorse overdrive that has stood the test of time across genres and generations, the Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer remains a go-to choice for players who value touch-sensitive response, mix-cutting clarity and timeless tone.
Classic Tube Screamer Tone
The TS9 delivers the signature mid-focused overdrive that made the Tube Screamer a studio and stage staple. It adds bite and sustain without flubbing out the low end, helping your guitar sit perfectly in a band mix while retaining clarity and note definition.
Simple, Intuitive Controls
With just Drive, Tone and Level controls, it is incredibly easy to shape your sound. Dial in anything from a subtle push for rhythm parts to a saturated lead tone, all while fine-tuning the brightness to match your guitar and amp.
Perfect for Boosting Your Amp
Use the TS9 as a boost by keeping the Drive low and the Level high to hit the front of your amp harder. This tightens the low end, enhances articulation and adds sustain, making it ideal for solos or adding definition to high-gain tones.
Pedalboard-Friendly Power Options
The TS9 can be powered by a single 9V battery or a compatible 9V DC centre-negative power supply, making it easy to integrate into almost any pedalboard setup. Its modest current draw helps keep your power requirements simple and reliable.
Features
- Iconic Mid-Focused Overdrive - The TS9 delivers the classic Tube Screamer sound, adding smooth, musical overdrive with a pronounced midrange that helps your guitar cut through without becoming harsh or fizzy.
- Drive, Tone and Level Controls - A straightforward three-knob layout lets you quickly sculpt your sound, from light breakup to rich saturation, while tailoring the overall brightness and output to suit your rig.
- Versatile Use as Drive or Boost - Run it as your main overdrive or set it up as a cleanish boost to push your amp harder, tighten low end and add sustain for leads and heavier styles.
- Flexible 9V Power - Operates from a standard 9V battery or an external 9V DC centre-negative adaptor, making it easy to power alongside your other pedals.
