Product Description
The Player II Mustang bass brings classic short-scale Fender flair at a great price, ready-made for the studio or stage thanks to pro level appointments. Known to be an excellent bass for new and young players, and guitarists who want an easy transition to bass, the Mustang feels great to play at a short than average 30-inch scale length, while still sounding huge.
The modern “C” neck has a lovely satin neck finish and sports a familiarly comfy 9.5-inch fretboard radius with 20 medium jumbo frets. Overall, a fantastic instrument to practice and play live.
There are benefits to the shorter scale in the snarly and dynamic sound too, especially when paired with the highly versatile alnico Precision and Jazz pickups to get a wide array of tones. It's all kept under control with great action and tuning stability with the steel barrel saddle bridge and open gear tuners.
