Product Description
Loaded with player-focused features and unmistakable style, the EVH Limited Edition Wolfgang Special Striped Series in Red, Black and White Aged is built to deliver explosive rock tones and effortless playability. With its relic-style striped finish, direct-mount Wolfgang humbuckers and a tour-ready Floyd Rose system with EVH D-Tuna, this is a no-nonsense performance machine that lets you hit the stage or studio with total confidence.
A basswood body with an arched top provides a balanced, punchy platform for high-gain riffing, while the graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck and compound-radius ebony fingerboard are engineered for speed and stability. Every control and component has been carefully chosen to support aggressive playing, from the low-friction volume pot for fast swells to the high-friction tone pot that stays put when your right hand is working overtime.
Direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbuckers supply the signature mix of girth, clarity and sustain that defined some of the most influential rock guitar tones of all time. Paired with the EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo, locking nut and brass block, you can divebomb, flutter and squeal without sacrificing tuning accuracy or punch.
Finished in an eye-catching aged Red with Black and White Stripes and dressed with distressed chrome hardware, this limited edition Wolfgang Special Striped Series model captures the attitude and aesthetic of a true rock icon, while delivering the precision and reliability demanded by modern players.
Iconic Aged Striped Finish
The Red with Black and White Stripes finish with aged treatment and distressed chrome hardware gives this Wolfgang Special an unmistakable, road-worn look. It captures the vibe of a hard-touring workhorse guitar, making it as visually inspiring as it is playable every time you strap in.
High-Performance Neck and Fingerboard
A quartersawn maple neck with graphite reinforcement and Wolfgang backshape offers rock-solid stability and a fast, comfortable feel. The 12 inch to 16 inch compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets is built for fluid bends, rapid runs and precise chording, staying comfortable whether you are laying down chunky rhythms or ripping lead lines.
Direct-Mount EVH Wolfgang Humbuckers
Custom-designed EVH Wolfgang humbuckers are mounted directly to the body for enhanced resonance, attack and sustain. They deliver a powerful yet articulate voice with plenty of low-end girth and top-end sparkle, ideal for tight rhythm work, searing solos and everything in between.
Floyd Rose with EVH D-Tuna
The EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo, paired with a Floyd Rose locking nut and brass block, keeps tuning locked in even under extreme whammy bar abuse. The EVH D-Tuna lets you flip between standard tuning and Drop D in an instant, making tuning changes onstage quick and precise without needing a second guitar.
