Dean ML Select Fluence Electric Guitar in Black Satin

The Dean ML Select Fluence in Black Satin takes the iconic ML silhouette and arms it with cutting-edge Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, premium tonewoods and sleek, stage-ready styling. Built for serious players who demand brutal clarity, effortless playability and rock-solid reliability, it is a no-nonsense metal machine that still oozes class thanks to its bound body, neck and headstock and stealthy satin finish.

Designed by musicians for musicians, the ML Select Fluence pairs an Eastern mahogany body and three-piece Eastern mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard for a powerful, focused voice that stays tight under high gain. A satin-finished V-profile neck and set-thru construction give you fast, unhindered access right up to the 22nd fret, while Grover tuners and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with V-plate keep everything locked in and ready for the heaviest riffs and biggest bends.

At the heart of the guitar is a matched set of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, delivering ultra-clear, high-output tones with exceptional note definition and dynamic response. Whether you are chugging low-tuned rhythms, ripping articulate leads or cleaning up for atmospheric passages, the Fluence system gives you a huge palette of usable sounds with minimal noise and maximum consistency.

Visually, the ML Select Fluence Black Satin is all about attitude. The flat-top Eastern mahogany body, black hardware, speed knobs and chrome Dean headstock logo combine to create a menacing, modern look, while 5-ply body and headstock binding and pearloid Ultra inlays add just the right amount of refinement. It is a guitar that looks as lethal as it sounds, and feels ready for the stage straight out of the box.

Fishman Fluence Modern Power

The Fishman Fluence Modern pickups provide crushing high-output tones with outstanding clarity and tight low end, perfect for modern metal and high-gain rock. Their low noise floor and even response across the fretboard mean every note of complex chords and rapid-fire runs stays defined, helping your playing cut through dense mixes both live and in the studio.

Satin V-Profile Set-Thru Neck

A three-piece Eastern mahogany neck with a comfortable V shape and satin finish offers a fast, smooth feel that resists stickiness under hot stage lights. The set-thru construction improves upper fret access and sustain, letting you reach high-register bends and squeals with ease while enjoying a solid, connected feel between neck and body.

Eastern Mahogany Body with Ebony Fretboard

The Eastern mahogany body and top deliver a rich, punchy midrange that is ideal for heavy riffing, while the ebony fretboard adds snap and articulation. This combination gives you a responsive, balanced platform that handles down-tuning and aggressive picking without getting muddy, keeping your tone tight and controlled.

Stage-Ready Hardware and Aesthetics

Grover 18:1 tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge with V-plate and black hardware provide stable tuning and precise intonation under hard playing. The Black Satin finish, 5-ply body and headstock binding, single-ply neck binding and chrome Dean logo create a striking, professional look that stands out on any stage.
