Product Description
The Dean Kerry King Overlord X in Satin Grey brings the ferocity of one of metal’s most iconic players into an accessible, performance-ready package. With its extreme body shape, fast 24-fret neck and punchy DMT passive pickups, this is a purpose-built riff machine designed to cut through high-gain mixes and look absolutely lethal on stage.
Combining an Eastern mahogany body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard, the Overlord X balances thick, aggressive rhythm tones with the snap and attack you need for tight palm-muted chugs and searing leads. Finished in a stealthy Satin Grey with black hardware, it is a no-nonsense metal weapon that is all about speed, precision and attitude.
Kerry King Inspired Design
Created in collaboration with Kerry King and Dean Guitars, the Overlord X captures the spirit of his unmistakable style. The radical body shape, bevelled edges and dark aesthetic are built to stand out under stage lights, giving you a guitar that looks as intense as the music you play. If you want an instrument that instantly screams extreme metal, this is it.
High-Impact Mahogany Body
The Eastern mahogany body and top provide a powerful, full-bodied tone with plenty of low-end punch and midrange growl. This makes the Overlord X ideal for down-tuned riffs and saturated high-gain sounds, while still retaining enough clarity to keep complex chords and fast passages defined and articulate.
Fast Kerry King Spec Neck
A bolt-on maple neck with Kerry King Spec C-shaped profile and 24 jumbo frets gives you the speed and control you need for modern metal playing. The 12 inch radius rosewood fretboard offers a comfortable, slightly flatter feel that is perfect for big bends, rapid legato and precise alternate picking, helping you execute demanding techniques with confidence.
DMT Passive Pickups and Simple Controls
The DMT passive pickups deliver a tight, aggressive voice that thrives with distortion. With a straightforward volume and tone layout plus a three-way toggle switch, you can quickly move from chunky rhythm sounds to cutting leads without distraction. It is a focused, gig-ready setup that keeps you playing instead of tweaking.

- 24 Jumbo Frets on a 12 Inch Radius - With 24 jumbo frets and a 12 inch fretboard radius, the Overlord X makes upper-register solos, wide bends and fast runs feel smooth and controlled across the entire neck.
