Product Description
The Dean Doyle Annihilator X in Black Satin is a brutal, stage-ready metal machine built in collaboration with legendary Misfits guitarist and solo artist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein. With its aggressive mahogany body, ultra-fast 27-fret neck and divebomb-ready Floyd Rose Special trem, this signature model is primed for high-gain riffing, searing leads and uncompromising performance under the harshest stage lights.
Every detail of the Annihilator X is geared towards players who demand precision, power and attitude. The flat-topped, bevelled body keeps things comfortable and streamlined, while the slim D-profile maple neck and 12-inch radius rosewood fretboard let you fly around all 27 jumbo frets with ease. A high-output DMT Time Capsule bridge humbucker delivers the snarling, articulate tone you need to cut through any mix, with a simple single-volume control keeping things focused and reliable.
Finished in a sinister Black Satin with matching black hardware, this guitar looks as mean as it sounds. From the pearloid Doyle bat inlays to the locking Floyd Rose R3 nut, the Annihilator X is built to withstand aggressive playing night after night, whether you are pounding out punk power chords or tearing into technical metal runs.
Fast, High-Access Neck
The bolt-on maple neck with a slim D profile and 25.5-inch scale is designed for speed and comfort. Combined with a 12-inch radius rosewood fretboard and 27 jumbo frets, it offers a familiar feel for modern players while giving you extended range for higher-register solos and dramatic bends.
Aggressive Mahogany Body
Constructed from Eastern mahogany for both body and top, the Annihilator X delivers a thick, punchy midrange that is perfect for heavy music. The flat top with bevels keeps the guitar comfortable against the body while adding a sharp, angular look that suits Doyle’s uncompromising aesthetic.
Floyd Rose Special Trem System
The Floyd Rose Special bridge and R3 locking nut give you the freedom to perform extreme vibrato, divebombs and squeals while helping to keep tuning stable. Paired with sealed die-cast tuners, this setup is ideal for players who rely on expressive trem work in their playing.
DMT Time Capsule Bridge Pickup
A single DMT Series Time Capsule bridge humbucker provides focused, high-output tone with plenty of cut and clarity. The simple single-volume control and 500k audio taper potentiometer keep your signal path clean and direct, making it easy to dial in tight rhythm sounds and searing leads without distraction.
Features
- Eastern Mahogany Body and Top - The all-mahogany construction delivers a powerful, mid-forward tone with excellent sustain, ideal for thick rhythm work and cutting lead lines in heavier styles.
- 27-Fret Slim D Maple Neck - A fast slim D-profile neck, 12-inch radius and 27 jumbo frets give you extended range and effortless playability, letting you reach screaming high notes and complex runs with confidence.
