Product Description
Based on the now legendary Yamaha RA-200 Rotary Speaker system, the Dawner Prince Electronics Eclipsa captures the tone, heart and soul of this long-discontinued unit and squeezes it into a premium stage-ready pedal, built for the needs of modern players.
Featuring a solid-state preamp inspired by the warm and articulate feel and sound of the Alembic F-2B preamps, the Eclipsa is the perfect solution for incorporating a slice of one of the most famed and replicated electric guitar rigs of all time. Along with controls for the preamps volume and EQ, along with slow and fast speeds, mic placement, acceleration time between fast and slow speeds and a blend for the rotary and static speakers, dialling in your ultimate rotary sound couldn't be simpler. There's even an expression pedal input for speed control on the fly.
Just like the original system, the Eclipsa is based on three independently driven rotating drivers in combination with a static 4x12 for a rotary sound unlike any other. It’s a sound that evolves as notes sustain, evoking a unique spatial character that, once experienced, is hard not to use. With full MIDI control, true bypass switching, 127 presets, and true stereo outputs, the Eclipse rotary speaker pedal is the perfect choice for fitting into any live or studio setup.
