Product Description
The Cordoba Luthier C10 Crossover takes the rich, traditional voice of a high end classical guitar and pairs it with a fast, slim neck that feels instantly familiar to steel string and electric players. With an all solid build featuring a European Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, it delivers a refined, responsive tone in a comfortable, modern playing package.
Designed as a bridge between classical and contemporary styles, the C10 Crossover offers a reduced 48 mm nut width, a 16 inch radius Ebony fingerboard and a slim C shaped Mahogany neck. Whether you are exploring nylon strings for the first time or you are a crossover player moving between genres, this thoughtful neck design makes complex chords, stretches and melodic lines feel natural and effortless.
Under the hood, traditional Spanish construction and a 7 fan bracing pattern give the C10 Crossover its lively, articulate character. Notes bloom quickly with excellent clarity, while the solid Rosewood body adds warmth, depth and sustain. Finished in a high gloss polyurethane, the guitar looks as refined as it sounds, with tasteful Rosewood bindings and Maple and black purfling details.
Lightweight, responsive and easy to play, the C10 Crossover is ideal for players who want concert level nylon tone without having to adapt to a full width classical neck. From Latin and jazz to fingerstyle and modern acoustic arrangements, it is a versatile, inspiring instrument that rewards a light touch and detailed playing.
Comfortable Crossover Neck
The C10 Crossover features a slim C shaped Mahogany neck with a reduced 48 mm nut width and a 16 inch radius fingerboard. This combination feels much closer to a steel string or electric guitar, making the transition to nylon strings far less daunting and allowing you to play with confidence straight away.
All Solid Tonewoods
A solid European Spruce top is paired with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides for a classic, high end nylon string voice. Spruce provides clarity, projection and dynamic range, while Rosewood adds richness, low end depth and a singing sustain that suits everything from delicate fingerstyle to more percussive techniques.
Traditional Spanish Construction
The Spanish heel neck joint and 7 fan bracing pattern give the C10 Crossover its responsive, resonant character. This time honoured approach enhances the connection between neck and body, improving sustain and allowing the top to vibrate more freely for a more open, expressive sound.
Refined Playability and Detailing
An Ebony fingerboard, bone nut and saddle, and smooth 14:1 tuning machines all contribute to a precise, stable playing experience. The gloss polyurethane finish, Rosewood binding and Maple and black purfling complete a classy, luthier inspired aesthetic that looks at home on any stage.
