Maple, Birch & Beech Drum Shells
SONOR Momentum drums are available with maple, birch or beech shells, allowing drummers to choose a tonewood that complements their preferred sound and playing style. Across the range, SONOR uses its popular 9-ply, 6mm shell construction, providing a consistent foundation while allowing the individual characteristics of each wood to shine through. From the balanced versatility of maple and focused response of birch to the distinctive character of beech, Momentum offers plenty of scope for finding your ideal drum sound.
Proven SONOR Hardware & Premium Finishes
Momentum incorporates technology developed for some of SONOR's established German-made drums. This includes ProLite T.A.R. tom mounts, designed to support natural shell resonance, alongside the Sound Sustainer system found on the floor toms. The premium construction is complemented by a choice of distinctive finishes, including Red Pearl, Satin Pure White, GT Black and California Burl, with wrap, matte lacquer and semi-gloss veneer options giving the series a combination of classic and contemporary style.
