Mapex Venus Drum Kits at Andertons Music Co.

Start your drumming journey with a Mapex Venus Drum Kit. Designed with first-time drummers in mind, the Venus Series combines approachable features with signature Mapex drum construction, providing an excellent foundation for learning and developing your playing. With complete configurations available containing the drums and essential equipment needed to get started, Mapex Venus kits are ideal for beginners looking for a setup they can enjoy from their first lesson onwards.

Poplar Shells & SONIClear Bearing Edges

At the heart of Mapex Venus Drum Kits are 9-ply, 7.2mm 100% poplar shells, designed to produce a full and warm acoustic drum sound. Mapex also equips the shells with SONIClear bearing edges, allowing the drumheads to sit more evenly against the shell for easier tuning, improved resonance and greater tonal clarity. Combined with Remo drumheads, Venus provides new drummers with a responsive and musical platform on which to develop their technique.

Complete Drum Kits for Beginners

One of the biggest advantages of the Mapex Venus Series is its all-inclusive approach. Complete Venus configurations can include a matching snare drum, cymbals, cymbal and hi-hat stands, a bass drum pedal and drum throne, helping remove some of the complexity of assembling a first acoustic kit. Practical features such as the adjustable double tom holder also make it straightforward to position the drums comfortably as you develop your playing style.
