V-Mod III pickups

Fender have redesigned their line of V-Mod Strat pickups as part of their third iteration to voice each pickup for their specific position in the neck, middle or bridge. These are crisp, articulate and lively pickups that capture the essence of classic Strats from over the years. The push/push switch activates the neck and bridge single-coils for two unique combinations to add to your sonic palette.

You’ve got the option of HSS models fitting a humbucker in the bridge position for a thicker, heavier midrange punch capable of handling higher gain with aplomb.

Also improving sound and performance are ClassicGear potentiometers with a custom torque feel on the volume and tone pots to allow for clean swells.

Playing feel updates

American Professional Stratocasters are equipped with Super-Natural satin finish maple necks for silky smooth movement. Rolled fretboard edges bring a satisfying “played-in” feel, while a bevelled neck plate and sculpted neck heel edge grant unfettered access to the upper frets for easy soloing. The range comes as standard with a deep “C” neck profile filling out your hand as you move up the neck, as well as narrow tall frets for a contemporary feel with a touch of vintage to help you with expressive bends and quick chord changes.

Updated 2-point tremolo

You’ve got ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles massively improving tuning stability and smooth tremolo action. The cold-rolled steel block aids with resonance throughout the body of the guitars to improve high-end sparkle. The screws have also been recessed to stay out the way of your playing, while making intonation and action adjustments easy to personalise your setup.
