    Hands-on ambience

With 12 modes of delay, the DD-200 is an all-terrain ambience vehicle. From warbling Space Echo to futuristic shimmer & pad sounds, you’re covered. Not only that; the interface is designed to allow you to easily dial in your favourite sounds with minimal hassle.

No menu-diving, no software required. The essential parameters are right in front of you, with the Param knob offering different functions depending on the sound you’re working with. You get 4 onboard slots to save your favourite presets, as well as a real-time Manual mode that reflects the current interface settings. Finally, the carryover function means your delay will continue ringing even when you change presets – no more clunky sound changes.

    Intuitive looping

When you press the DD-200’s two footswitches together, you activate looper mode. This gives you up to 60 seconds of mono recording time, with a selection of simple and direct controls thanks to the onboard switches. In addition, the looper behaves independently, so you can build expressive loops with any of the DD-200’s rich delay sounds.

    DD-200 Delay Modes

    • Standard - Clear digital delay. PARAM adjusts the delay attack.
    • Analog - Emulates classic analog “BBD” delays like the BOSS DM series. PARAM controls character and distortion amount.

    • Drum - Models the drum-based Binson Echorec 2. PARAM selects different combinations of four playback heads, and also adjusts the amount of distortion in the delay sound.
    • Shimmer - Pitch-shifted delay for lush, heavenly textures. PARAM adjusts the delay brightness.
    • Tera Echo - Spacious, animated ambience effect derived from the BOSS TE-2 pedal. PARAM adjusts the sound character.

    • Pattern - Rhythmic sounds with 16 delay lines layered together. PARAM selects different pattern variations.
    • Lo-Fi - Delay sound with fat, distorted character. PARAM adjusts the distortion effect.
    • Dual - Two different delay lines connected in series. PARAM adjusts the time of the second delay.
    • Reverse - Backwards delay for cool psychedelic effects and other unique tones. PARAM adjusts the delay attack.

Just as I was hoping, a fantastic pedal with so much available. I wanted specifically a pedal that was programmable and capable of storing settings as I gig a lot. I will spend many a happy hour exploring the depths within this wondrous device. Well built too.

Good product, sounds real nice. But I really - really - wish the instruction manual was a lot more user-friendly. It takes a lot of brain to figure it out by your self.

A superb delay pedal. I've been running it into the front of the amp and it fits in the mix extremely well. Looks great on the board and is easy to use. The BPM feature is really useful but so is the ability to have presets available at your feet. This is superb!

Great delay pedal, easy to use and sound fantastic. Some modes are a little ‘out there’ for my tastes but I’m sure someone else could use them.

Brilliant pedal - so many presets, functions and sounds, and with an in-built tap tempo button, memory and looping function. Absolutely love it.

This delay pedal is perfect for my needs. Stereo in and out. Digital and analog modes. Tap tempo and even more usefully in a DAW recording situation, the ability to set the delay time in BPM to pefectly match the song tempo. It has a wide range of delay divisions including dotted eighth if you need to do that corny U2 delay thing. The quality is crystal clear but also has the ability to be gritty and lo-fi when you need it (I got a perfect retro Scotty Moore slap back echo with the lo-fi setting). Everything is accessible from knobs on the front panel so it's quick to set up with no confusing menu diving needed. It's well constructed and looks great too. All in all, 10 out of 10.
