Fender Vintera Series Telecaster Guitars

As a replacement for the Classic series, Fender's Vintera lineup encompasses a number of '50s, '60s and '70s-inspired electric guitars and basses. As the top of the Mexican-made range, these models have all of the quality you'd expect from Fender, yet their modest prices make them much more attainable than their US-made counterparts.

Fender Vintera Telecasters come equipped with vintage-voiced pickups that ensure the authentic Fender tones of decades past. While the '50s Teles feature "U"-shaped neck profiles for that unmistakable old-school feel, the '60s models have a slightly more manageable "C" carve. The '70s Telecasters also adhere to the classic formula of the originals, with their thin "C" necks attached via the distinctive 3-bolt joint.

Fender has tried to retain the spirit of their classic Telecasters with the Vintera series. However, some models boast modern refinements that make them more suitable for contemporary players. The Modified Teles are built specifically for this audience, with their modern "C" necks and hotter-sounding pickups. Also fitted with medium jumbo frets and featuring flatter 9.5" fingerboard radii, these particular guitars will suit players looking for superior performance.
