Product Description
The Sire V7 Alder-5 New Gen Bass in Dark Forest takes everything players loved about the original V7 and refines it for modern performance. With its updated neck profile, simplified yet powerful preamp and rock-solid hardware, this five-string workhorse is built to deliver pro-level tone and comfort whether you are on stage, in the studio or laying down grooves at home.
Designed with player feedback at its core, the V7 Alder-5 New Gen offers a fast, comfortable feel across the entire fingerboard, flexible active and passive sounds at the push of a knob, and the long-lasting reliability of stainless steel frets. It is a serious instrument for bassists who need classic looks, contemporary playability and a wide tonal palette in one versatile package.
Refined New Gen Neck
The New Gen neck has been carefully reshaped for an easier, more natural playing experience. A comfortable profile, smooth satin-style feel and Sire’s renowned rolled fingerboard edges help your fretting hand glide effortlessly up and down the neck, reducing fatigue during long sets and sessions.
Simple, Powerful Preamp
The updated preamp layout removes the coil tap switch in favour of a clean four-knob control set with a push/pull active and passive switch. This keeps your controls intuitive and gig friendly, letting you move from vintage passive warmth to punchy active clarity in an instant without overcomplicating your setup.
Stainless Steel Frets
Stainless steel frets offer exceptional durability and a smooth, glassy feel under your fingers. They resist wear far better than traditional fretwire, helping your V7 Alder-5 maintain accurate intonation, consistent playability and a crisp attack on every note for years of regular playing.
Classic Sire Style and Versatility
With its familiar S-style body, Dark Forest finish and quality hardware, the V7 Alder-5 New Gen looks as good as it sounds. The versatile electronics and comfortable five-string layout make it equally at home covering tight modern grooves, soulful R&B lines or punchy rock and pop bass parts.
Features
- New Gen Neck Profile - The updated neck is shaped for easier playing, giving you a comfortable, fast feel that suits everything from intricate runs to solid, supportive lines. It helps reduce hand strain so you can focus on your groove.
