Product Description
The Sire S7 Ash Top in Natural takes the already impressive S7 platform and dresses it up with a solid swamp ash drop top, roasted maple neck and premium hardware. Built for players who demand a professional, do it all S style guitar, it offers a wide tonal palette, slick modern playability and a refined look that will feel at home on any session or stage.
With its North American alder body and solid swamp ash top, the S7 Ash Top balances punch and clarity with a touch of extra snap and definition. A roasted maple neck and fingerboard with rolled Edgeless edges make long sessions more comfortable, while stainless steel frets and locking tuners keep your playing precise and in tune. Finished with Sire LC Super ST single coils and a modern two post trem, this is a workhorse instrument designed to cover everything from glassy cleans to driven rock tones with ease.
Premium Ash Drop Top Construction
The S7 Ash Top upgrades the standard S7 formula with a solid swamp ash top over a North American alder body. This drop top construction not only looks stunning in its Natural finish, it also adds extra brightness and articulation to your sound. The result is a lively, responsive instrument that cuts through a mix without ever feeling harsh, ideal for detailed rhythm work and expressive lead lines.
Roasted Maple Neck with Edgeless Fingerboard
A roasted maple neck and fingerboard give the S7 Ash Top a smooth, stable playing feel. Roasting helps to remove moisture from the wood, improving resistance to temperature and humidity changes, while also adding a subtle, played in feel. Sire s Edgeless rolled fretboard edges make the neck feel exceptionally comfortable in the hand, reducing fatigue and making position shifts feel effortless.
Modern Compound Radius and Stainless Frets
The 9.5 to 14 inch compound radius fingerboard is curved enough for comfortable chords down low, then gradually flattens out for clean bends and fast runs higher up the neck. Medium jumbo 2.7 mm stainless steel frets offer a slick, durable playing surface that resists wear and keeps your bends smooth and in tune for years of regular use, making this an ideal choice for busy gigging and session players.
Sire LC Super ST Pickups and Modern Trem
The S7 Ash Top is loaded with the Sire LC Super ST pickup set, voiced for clarity, balance and versatility across all five switch positions. From sparkling neck tones to tight, focused bridge sounds, you can cover a wide range of styles with a single guitar. The Sire modern two post tremolo bridge offers smooth vibrato action and reliable tuning stability, especially when paired with the premium locking tuners.
