Product Description
The Sire L7 Deluxe in Amber Burst is a refined, single cut electric guitar designed in collaboration with Larry Carlton, offering classic looks with thoroughly modern playability. With a mahogany body and maple top, ebony fingerboard, stainless steel frets and newly tuned LC Custom humbuckers, it delivers versatile tones and a slick, professional feel that suits everything from blues and jazz to rock and pop.
This is the deluxe version of the L7. It features full body binding on both the front and back, a Gotoh bridge for enhanced stability, and a square-block inlay placed at the 1st fret. It is an excellent choice for players looking for a custom-grade instrument.
This New Generation L7 takes the original formula and upgrades it for demanding players. Weight relief in the body keeps long sets comfortable, Edgeless rolled fretboard edges and a smooth C shape neck make chords and bends effortless, while premium locking tuners and a Gotoh bridge to keep tuning rock solid. If you want a classy, vintage inspired single cut that feels fast, plays easily and covers a huge tonal range, the L7 Deluxe is built to be your main guitar.
Refined Larry Carlton Single Cut Design
The L7 Deluxe is a reimagined version of Larry Carlton’s signature single cut, with the familiar Sire L shape body and a stunning Amber Burst finish. The combination of a mahogany body with a hard maple top gives you the warmth and punch associated with classic single cuts, while the flame veneer adds visual flair on stage and in the studio.
Modern Playability with Edgeless Fingerboard
The mahogany neck features a comfortable C shape profile and a 24.75 inch scale, giving a familiar feel to players coming from classic single cuts. The ebony fingerboard with Sire’s Edgeless rolled fretboard edges and 12 inch radius offers a smooth, fast playing surface, while the 2.7 mm stainless medium jumbo frets provide a slick feel and long lasting durability with consistent intonation.
Stable Hardware for Confident Performance
The Gotoh bridge provides excellent sustain and precise intonation. Premium locking tuners make string changes quick and help keep tuning stable through bends and heavy playing. Gold speed knobs and an ivory pickguard complete the upscale look, matching the Amber Burst finish with a touch of vintage inspired style.
