Product Description
The Sire F10 Dx 6 is a premium, modern single-cut active bass designed for players who want boutique looks, cutting-edge playability and huge tonal range in one instrument. With its Swamp Ash body, Natural Spalted Maple top and neck-thru 5-piece Maple and Mahogany construction, this six string model offers piano-like sustain, superb balance and a striking stage presence that suits everything from fusion and gospel to modern rock and metal.
Loaded with Marcus Custom-H Revolution pickups, the Heritage-3 HD preamp and a full 24 stainless frets on a Rosewood Edgeless fingerboard, the F10 Dx 6 is built for advanced techniques and expressive playing. From tight, articulate low B lines to singing chordal work and solos high up the neck, it delivers a refined, contemporary voice that stays clear and controlled in any mix.
Modern Single-Cut Design with Premium Woods
The deluxe modern single-cut body shape is carved from Swamp Ash and capped with a Natural Spalted Maple top, giving the F10 Dx 6 a boutique aesthetic and a resonant, lively core tone. Swamp Ash provides clarity and punch, while the Spalted Maple top adds definition and visual flair, making this bass as eye-catching as it is inspiring to play.
Neck-Thru Construction for Sustain and Comfort
A 5-piece Hard Maple and Mahogany neck runs right through the body, maximising sustain and improving note consistency across all six strings. The comfortable C-shape profile and Edgeless Rosewood fingerboard with rolled fretboard edges make long sessions easier on the hands, whether you are playing intricate chord voicings, extended range riffs or fast melodic runs.
Marcus Custom Electronics for Versatile, Modern Tones
The Marcus Custom-H Revolution pickups with wooden covers are paired with the Marcus Heritage-3 HD preamp to deliver a wide palette of usable sounds. With Volume and passive-style Tone, a pickup Blender, dedicated Treble, Middle with selectable frequency, Bass controls and a Pickup Variation switch, you can move effortlessly from tight, percussive tones to rich, full-range sounds suited to contemporary styles.
Stage-Ready Hardware and Six String Layout
The New Marcus Heavymass Custom bridge and premium diecasting tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability and strong string-to-body transfer, helping every note feel solid and authoritative. With 24 stainless frets and a 35 inch scale optimised for six string tension and clarity, the F10 Dx 6 is ready for serious players who demand reliability and precision from their main instrument.
