If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Matched Pair for Consistent Stereo Imaging
This set includes two R-10 microphones carefully matched for output and frequency response. That consistency is crucial for stereo techniques such as X/Y, Blumlein or spaced pairs, giving you stable imaging, accurate localisation and a more natural stereo field on everything from drum overheads to acoustic ensembles.
High SPL Handling for Loud Sources

Each R-10 uses a 2.5-micron aluminium ribbon element protected by a three-layer windscreen system, significantly reducing plosives, air blasts and proximity effect. The ribbon transducer is internally shock-mounted to isolate it from mechanical vibration and handling noise, while humbucking wiring helps reject electromagnetically induced noise in challenging environments.
Natural, Phase-Coherent Ribbon Tone
The R-10’s open grille design minimises standing waves and comb-filtering, resulting in a flat, smooth frequency response without harsh high-frequency peaks or ringing. Royer’s patented offset-ribbon design also gives you two distinct tonal options from each microphone, with higher SPL handling on the front and a brighter response from the back, making the pair extremely versatile across different sources.
