EMG Richie Faulkner Custom 57/66 Falcons RF Pickup Set with Long Shaft in Chrome

The EMG Richie Faulkner Custom 57/66 Falcons RF Pickup Set with Long Shaft in Chrome takes EMG’s acclaimed 57/66 platform and refines it to match the needs of Judas Priest’s modern metal powerhouse. Voiced in collaboration with Richie himself, these active humbuckers deliver huge headroom, articulate attack and an organic feel that responds like a great passive set, while still giving you all the punch, clarity and consistency EMG are known for.

Designed for players who live on high-gain rhythm work but still need expressive cleans and fluid lead tones, the RF Falcons Set offers a wide dynamic range that stays tight and controlled at any volume. Whether you are chugging through down-tuned riffs, stacking overdrives into a saturated amp, or rolling back the volume for shimmering cleans, these pickups stay clear, musical and incredibly responsive to your picking hand.

Finished in sleek chrome and supplied with EMG’s solderless wiring system, this set is built to drop into your guitar with minimal fuss. The long shaft pots included make the RF Falcons Set suitable for guitars that require deeper control cavity reach, while the complete wiring kit means you can upgrade your entire electronics in one go.

If you want the feel and nuance of a great passive humbucker with the power, low noise and consistency of an active system, all voiced to the standards of a world-touring metal icon, the EMG Richie Faulkner RF Falcons Set is a compelling upgrade for your main stage or studio guitar.

Richie Faulkner Signature Voice

Developed closely with Richie Faulkner, this set refines the classic EMG 57/66 recipe into a more expressive, modern metal voice. You get tight lows, focused mids and a singing high end that cuts through dense mixes, ideal for everything from classic Priest-style riffing to contemporary high-gain tones.

Active Power with Passive Feel

The RF Falcons feature a clean, high-headroom design that keeps your tone open and dynamic at any gain level. They respond naturally to pick attack and volume changes, giving you the benefits of active pickups such as low noise and consistent output, while retaining the touch sensitivity and organic character associated with passive humbuckers.

Complete Solderless Wiring Kit

Like all EMG sets, the RF Falcons come with EMG’s solderless wiring system, including pots, output jack, battery bus and all necessary cables. This makes installation straightforward and reversible, letting you upgrade your guitar’s entire electronics without needing a soldering iron.

Long Shaft Pots for Versatile Fit

This RF Falcons set includes long shaft 25k pots, making it suitable for guitars that require extra pot length through thicker tops or control plates. This helps ensure a secure, reliable fit in a wider range of instruments, while maintaining the correct load for optimal active pickup performance.
