EMG Richie Faulkner Custom 57/66 Falcons RF Pickup Set with F Spacing in Chrome

The EMG Richie Faulkner Custom 57/66 Falcons RF Pickup Set with F spacing in chrome is a high headroom, artist-tuned active humbucker set built for expressive modern metal. Based on the acclaimed EMG 57/66 platform but refined to match Richie Faulkner’s evolving style with Judas Priest, these pickups deliver searing gain tones, articulate cleans and a remarkably organic feel, all while retaining the clarity and punch that made EMG a studio and stage standard.

Working closely with EMG founder Rob Turner, Richie helped shape a version of the 57/66 that would respond to every nuance of his right hand, from delicate clean passages to full-bore riffing. The result is the RF Falcons Set, a limited 2026 release available in chrome, designed to give you the benefits of active electronics with the touch sensitivity and musicality players usually associate with passive pickups.

Whether you are chasing stadium-ready metal tones, tight rhythm definition or soaring, vocal-like leads, the RF Falcons Set is voiced to stay open and expressive at any gain level. With EMG’s solderless wiring system included in the box, you can drop them into a compatible F-spaced guitar and be ready to take off in no time.

Richie Faulkner’s Signature Voice

Richie Faulkner has spent over a decade driving Judas Priest’s twin-guitar attack, and his signature Falcons set captures the power and precision required for that role. Evolving from his early EMG 81/85 setup into a customised 57/66 platform, this set is tailored to deliver tight low end, cutting mids and singing highs that sit perfectly in a dense band mix while still feeling fluid and responsive under the fingers.

High Headroom, Organic Feel

The RF Falcons Set is designed around a clean, high-headroom architecture, so your tone stays open and dynamic even with heavy gain. You get the low noise and consistency of active pickups, but with an organic, almost passive-like response that lets you dig in for more bite or back off for glassy cleans without losing clarity or character.

Limited 2026 Chrome Finish

Available in chrome for 2026 only, this version of the RF Falcons Set brings a sleek, modern aesthetic to match its high performance sound. The reflective finish adds a premium visual edge to your guitar while you enjoy the same artist-spec voicing that Richie relies on night after night on the world’s biggest stages.

EMG Solderless Install System Included

Like all EMG pickups, the RF Falcons Set comes with EMG’s solderless wiring system for straightforward installation. With dedicated pots, output jack, battery bus and plug-in cables included, you can rewire your guitar cleanly and efficiently, minimising downtime and getting you straight back to playing.

• Richie Faulkner Custom 57/66 Voicing - Developed in collaboration with Richie Faulkner, this set refines the classic EMG 57/66 formula for modern metal, delivering tight, authoritative rhythm tones and soaring leads that cut through the mix while remaining smooth and musical.
• High Headroom Active Design - The clean, high-headroom circuit keeps your sound articulate at any gain level, from pristine cleans to saturated distortion, giving you the benefits of active pickups with a dynamic, passive-like playing feel.
• F Spacing for Trem-Equipped Guitars - Designed with F spacing, this set aligns the pole pieces more accurately under the strings on many tremolo-equipped and wider-spaced bridge guitars, helping maintain consistent string-to-string balance and definition.
• EMG Solderless Wiring System - Supplied with EMG’s complete solderless install kit, the RF Falcons Set can be fitted with plug-in connectors instead of solder joints, making installation cleaner, faster and more accessible for players who want to upgrade their guitar at home.
