Product Description
The Reverend Charger Standard is your next go-to workhorse electric guitar, featuring cool retro-modern styling and high-performance parts. It delivers everything you'd expect from a Reverend: effortless playability, rock-solid construction and outstanding value. Whether you're laying down clean passages or cranking up the gain, the Charger Standard is ready for whatever the gig throws at it.
Premium tonewoods
At the heart of the Charger Standard is a solid Korina body paired with a roasted Maple neck. This winning combo provides a lively, resonant character with lots of sustain, while the roasted neck offers enhanced stability and a smooth, comfortable feel.
Reverend HCM humbuckers
Loaded with a pair of Reverend HCM humbuckers, the Charger Standard packs plenty of punch when it's time to turn things up. Expect powerful output, rich harmonics and impressive clarity, with the ability to clean up beautifully when you roll back the controls. It's a versatile setup that covers everything from sparkling cleans to full-throttle riffs. And Reverend's acclaimed Bass Contour control is onboard too, giving you even greater command over your core tone.
Road-ready hardware
The Charger Standard features a string-through-body bridge with stainless steel saddles for exceptional sustain, articulation and attack. Reverend's Pin-Lock tuners complete the package, providing excellent tuning stability while making string changes quick and hassle-free.
Features
- Solid Korina body: A tonewood loved for its consistency and harmonic richness, making every note feel alive.
- Roasted maple neck: Heat-treated for enhanced stability and reliability, with a lovely smooth feel.
- Reverend HCM humbucker set: Designed to supercharge your sound no matter what amp you’re plugged into! They deliver plenty of raw rock horsepower but clean up nice and sweet when you back things off.
- Bass contour control: A secret weapon — tighten the lows, reshape the mids or give your pickups a whole new voice with a simple twist.
- Pure Tone jack: Dual contacts (instead of the usual single) mean a stronger connection, better signal and fewer crackles.
- String‑thru‑body bridge: Paired with stainless steel saddles, you get loads of attack, mega sustain and a solid, ringing tone.
- Pin‑Lock tuners: A steel pin locks the string in place with a quick twist of the thumbwheel. Faster string changes, better tuning stability!
