Reverend Charger Guitars
Reverend Charger Guitars
The T-Type is a classic design that's been around since the early 50s but can seem a bit traditional for anyone looking for something a little bit different. The Revered Charger has the familiarity of T-Type but with a look and sound that differentiates it. The Charger still has a singlecut body with a bolt-on maple neck, but Reverend have put an offset twist on the body shape. As opposed to the the single-coils you usually see on guitars like this, the Charger comes in three variations, all offering pickups that provide heftier sound than the traditional T-Type:
- Charger 290: The 290 features dual P90 pickups which are thicker and warmer than traditional single-coils but still retain some of that clarity and definition so you can still get some of that T-Type twang.
- Charger HB: This version of the Charger gives you those classic smooth yet powerful humbucker tones - great for a wide range of genres from jazz to rock.
- Charger RA: The Charger RA features Reverend's unique Railhammer humbuckers which have rails under the wound strings for tighter, more defined bass notes.
