ProMark Rebound 5AB Hickory Drumstick With Acorn Wood Tip

The ProMark Rebound 5AB Hickory drumstick is designed for drummers who want extra agility and finesse without sacrificing power. Sitting neatly between traditional 5A and 5B sizes, it offers a versatile diameter with a slightly rear-weighted feel, making fast, controlled playing feel more natural in your hands. An acorn wood tip delivers a musical, articulate response across the kit, from crisp ride patterns to full-bodied tom work.

With its long taper and carefully balanced profile, the Rebound 5AB encourages a relaxed grip and efficient technique, helping you play faster and for longer with less fatigue. Whether you are navigating intricate ghost notes, dynamic accents or quick cymbal work, this stick responds effortlessly, giving you the confidence to focus on your performance rather than fighting your gear.

Rebound Balance for Speed and Control

The defining feature of the Rebound 5AB is its rear-weighted balance, created by a long taper that shifts more mass towards the back of the stick. This design naturally enhances stick rebound, so your strokes feel quicker and more responsive. The result is improved speed, cleaner doubles and a more effortless feel, particularly useful for styles that demand agility such as funk, pop, fusion and lighter rock.

Comfortable 5AB Diameter

With a diameter of 0.580 inches, the Rebound 5AB sits perfectly between a standard 5A and 5B. This gives you a touch more substance than a 5A for added presence and control, while remaining slimmer and more agile than a full 5B. It is an excellent choice if you find 5A sticks a little too light but do not want the extra bulk of heavier models, making it a highly adaptable option for mixed set lists and varied playing environments.

Acorn Wood Tip for Musical Articulation

The acorn-shaped wood tip provides a warm, rounded attack with plenty of definition. On cymbals, it delivers clear stick articulation with a smooth wash, while on drums it produces a full, musical tone that works well at both low and high volumes. This makes the Rebound 5AB a great all-rounder for players who need one stick to cover everything from subtle grooves to more assertive backbeats.

Durable Hickory Construction

Crafted from hickory, the Rebound 5AB offers a dependable blend of strength, shock absorption and familiar feel. Hickory helps to reduce the impact on your hands and wrists while still standing up to regular practice and performance. The result is a stick that feels solid and reassuring in the hand, with the resilience to handle day-to-day use on the kit.
