Product Description
The ProMark Rebound 5A FireGrain drumstick takes the familiar feel of a classic 5A and supercharges it with serious durability. Using ProMark’s patented FireGrain heat-tempering process, these hickory sticks are hardened by flame to withstand heavier playing, while still keeping the same weight, balance and response that drummers rely on.
Whether you are powering through rock gigs, rehearsing night after night or just want sticks that last longer without feeling bulky, the Rebound 5A FireGrain delivers. There are no gimmicks or added materials, just natural hickory that has been carefully heat-treated to resist chipping and breaking, so you can hit harder and play longer with confidence.
FireGrain Heat-Tempered Hickory
At the heart of the Rebound 5A FireGrain is ProMark’s FireGrain process, where each stick is heat-tempered to toughen the outer layer of the hickory. This controlled treatment enhances durability and lifespan while preserving the organic feel of the wood. The result is a stick that shrugs off rimshots and heavy accents, helping you get more playing time out of every pair.
Rebound Balance for Speed and Control
As part of the Rebound series, these sticks are designed with the weight shifted slightly towards the rear, giving a lively, responsive feel in the hand. This balance makes fast ride patterns, ghost notes and intricate grooves feel more effortless, ideal for players who value finesse and articulation as much as power.
Classic 5A Dimensions
With a familiar 5A diameter and a standard 16 inch length, the Rebound 5A FireGrain feels instantly comfortable for a huge range of styles. The medium thickness offers a versatile blend of control and projection, making it a great all-rounder for everything from pop and funk to rock and worship settings.
Acorn Wood Tip
The acorn-shaped wood tip delivers a warm, full cymbal tone with clear definition, while still providing a solid, musical response on drums. It helps your ride patterns speak clearly and gives your crashes a rich, rounded attack, making these sticks a strong choice for both live and studio work.
Features
- FireGrain Heat-Tempered Hickory - The patented FireGrain process hardens the outer layer of the hickory, significantly boosting durability. This means fewer broken sticks and more consistent feel from gig to gig, saving you money and reducing mid-set stick changes.
- Rebound-Focused Balance - Designed for a responsive, back-weighted feel, the Rebound profile makes quick strokes and fast patterns easier to execute. You get improved stick return and less effort in your hands and wrists, ideal for longer sessions.
- Versatile 5A Size - With a medium 0.565 inch diameter and 16 inch length, these sticks sit in the sweet spot between light and heavy. They are comfortable for a wide range of players and musical styles, making them a reliable go-to pair in your stick bag.
- Acorn Wood Tip for Musical Tone - The acorn wood tip offers a balanced mix of warmth and definition on cymbals and drums. This gives you articulate ride patterns and punchy backbeats without sounding harsh, helping your touch translate clearly in any mix.
