Product Description
The LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 MIX is a powerful 4-way column PA system designed for demanding live performances, combining high output, controlled dispersion and a fully integrated 8-channel digital mixer. Its 15" neodymium woofer delivers punchy, precise bass down to 34 Hz, while 14 x 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers and four 1" compression drivers provide clear, detailed mid and high-frequency reproduction. The passive cardioid column design reduces rearward radiation by up to 18 dB, helping to keep the stage cleaner and improving audience coverage. The integrated mixer features eight XLR/TRS combo inputs, six microphone preamps, onboard effects, Bluetooth audio streaming, four monitor outputs and a dedicated system output. Settings can be managed from the colour display or remotely using the MAUI MIX app. With 1,800 W RMS power, 3,600 W peak power and a maximum SPL of 133 dB, the MAUI 44 G3 MIX offers substantial headroom for solo performers, duos, bands and event professionals. SysLink also allows two systems to operate together in true stereo with centralised control.
Features
- Integrated 8 Channel Digital Mixer - Eight XLR/TRS combo inputs, onboard effects, Bluetooth streaming and flexible monitoring provide comprehensive control without additional mixing equipment.
- Powerful 4 Way Column System - The 1,800 W RMS amplifier and 15" woofer deliver powerful full-range sound with a maximum SPL of 133 dB.
- Passive Cardioid Column Design - The column attenuates rearward radiation by up to 18 dB, reducing unwanted stage sound while maintaining controlled audience coverage.
Integrated Digital Mixing:
The MAUI 44 G3 MIX puts comprehensive mixing facilities directly into the PA system, making it particularly convenient for performers and event professionals. Its eight-channel digital mixer features eight XLR/TRS combo inputs, with six channels equipped with microphone preamps. Onboard effects add further flexibility, while a footswitch connection allows hands-free control during performances. Bluetooth audio streaming provides a straightforward way to play backing tracks and other wireless audio sources. Four monitor outputs and a dedicated system output give you plenty of routing flexibility for different performance configurations. The integrated colour display provides direct access to mixer and system settings, while the free MAUI MIX app for iOS and Android enables wireless control from a compatible mobile device.
Powerful Full Range Performance:
At the heart of the MAUI 44 G3 MIX is a high-power 15" neodymium woofer housed in a rugged bass reflex enclosure, delivering defined low frequencies down to 34 Hz. Airflow optimised ports help reduce turbulence and port noise, maintaining clarity when the system is working hard. The two-piece column combines 14 x 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers with four 1" compression drivers, using BEM-optimised waveguides, phase plugs and horn-loaded midrange drivers for controlled, coherent coverage. The result is a 120° x 25° dispersion pattern with clear vocals and detailed high frequencies. DynX DSP Gen. 2 and advanced peak, RMS and thermal limiters help maintain clean, undistorted sound at high output levels.
Cardioid Control and System Expansion:
The passive cardioid column is designed to direct sound towards the audience while reducing unwanted rearward radiation by up to 18 dB across 100 Hz to 1 kHz. This helps create a cleaner stage environment and improves control in live performance situations. The system can also be expanded with a second MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer. Used behind the system with the Cardioid preset, it extends cardioid control into the low-frequency range, increasing bass towards the audience while reducing it behind the PA. Alternatively, positioning the second subwoofer facing forwards can provide an additional 6 dB of low-frequency sound pressure. Two MAUI 44 G3 MIX systems can also be connected via SysLink for true stereo operation and unified control of all 16 mixer channels.
