At its core, the Pentatone features a responsive distortion circuit with dedicated bass and treble controls, letting you move from crunchy classic rock textures through to saturated, modern distortion. Before this, a pre boost can be engaged to push the front of the circuit harder for added gain and sustain, or simply to fatten up lower-output pickups. After the distortion, a post boost lets you lift solos or sections without upsetting your carefully crafted gain structure.

The integrated noise gate keeps even the most aggressive settings tight and controlled, clamping down on hiss and hum without choking your playing dynamics.
