Product Description

The Headliner R2 is a compact 2 channel analogue rotary DJ mixer designed for DJs who want that classic warm sound and smooth rotary feel, without the boutique price tag. With genuine ALPS potentiometers, a powerful analogue filter on the master, and 3 band isolator EQs on each channel, it delivers precise control and musical response whether you are playing house, techno, funk, soul or disco.

Featuring selectable line and phono inputs on both channels, independent master and booth outputs, and a fully featured headphone section, the R2 slots easily into a home, bar or club setup. Its modular internal construction, external split rail power supply and robust metal chassis with stained wood side panels all work together to provide reliable performance and a timeless aesthetic.

Classic Rotary Feel with Modern Control

At the heart of the R2 are two stereo channels with large rotary volume controls, giving you that smooth, continuous feel that rotary mixers are known for. Each channel includes gain with peak LED, a 3 band isolator EQ, headphone cue selector and filter activation switch, so you can shape and ride your mix with finesse rather than fighting stepped faders.

Analogue Filter on the Master

The master section features an analogue filter with selectable high pass and low pass modes, plus dedicated frequency and resonance controls. This lets you sweep, sculpt and build tension in a very musical way, adding movement and character to transitions without relying on external effects.

Flexible Monitoring and Outputs

The R2 offers independent master and booth outputs, each with their own volume controls and both available on balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors. A dedicated record output on RCA makes it easy to capture your sets. The headphone section includes volume, cue/master mix, split monitor and a high current amplifier with both 1/4” and 1/8” jacks, so you can monitor exactly how you like with almost any headphones.

Built to Sound and Look the Part

Genuine ALPS potentiometers, modular internal construction and an external split rail power supply connected via locking mini XLR all contribute to clean, stable audio performance. The sturdy metal enclosure with stained wood side panels gives the R2 a classic, understated look that sits perfectly alongside turntables and other vintage inspired gear.
